New email address and create a new account.

Why do you want to start over?

I haven't played in a very long time, and I would just like to start over.

Okay, I should ask, do you own any mechs on your current account? And you get freebie to change your name in your profile.

But if you have nothing on this account, just create a new account. You will need a different email address, or if you like this address, change the email on this account to free up the current email.

Yeah... not understanding, as other than the cadet bonus for completing the first 25 matches, you literally gain nothing by having a new account. And if you have an existing account you presumably have more 'mechs than the value of the cadet bonuses...

Donut Worm why do you want to start over?

starting over would allow you to:

rapidly accumilate about 20 million cbills over about 25 games and the tutorial, rather than 100-200 games depending on how well you play,

have a fresh start as far as stats and PSR tier are concerned (some people consider this important but I realy cannot understand why, you are the only person who sees the stats and tier is designed to help match you against players of simular skill, 1 being highest, 5 being lowest), if you were t1 or t2 and are a bit rusty I could understand wanting to start off in a lower tier but otherwise you gain nothing.

that is it.

what would it cost you
you would not have access to anything on your current account, so if you have more than 2 Mechs it would be a net loss

about the only time I would advise someone to restart is if they purchased a Mech with their cadet bonus and hated the Mech, even then I would sugest experementing with the Mech first.

if you want to try some of the newer Mechs try the trial Mechs, or start a new account (or 50) to try more chassis but I would advise keeping your current account.

I should add as a side note:
Your name is blue, Donut.

This means that you already are entitled to the same benefits as a brand new account.
O.o;
