So if I am the last man standing in a LRM boat I have lost the game for my team.
But if I am last man standing in a ECM sniper then it is exhilarating and kudos all around!
Wut?

Every time....every god damn time....I say to myself: "Try and stay back! Just a little. You don't have to always be out front. Stay back with the group. Play smart." Yet, I'd say 75% of the time where do I end up? Out in front. Doesn't matter if its a Shadow Cat or an Atlas, somehow I always seem to end up being the first moron in the circle, across the water, out in the open. Thank god for armor quirks or my stats would be even worse.
There are players that literally will not go out first, ever, because the first to go out is the first to play pinata most of the time and have the rest of their match jeopardized.

The sniper has a chance of outmanuevering while delivering damage, but the lurmboat can not only often be rushed to negate it's firepower, it's usually not fast enough to get away and has nobody to protect it.
Sorta like a WWII bomber with it's escorts gone.
Although, SHC's can make nice LRM spotters. You're going to hit and run, leave a pod behind, or get behind them and dump a UAV where it'll do it's worst and nobody will notice.

They tend to be the same person you see stealing your kills over and over. Always two steps behind until the enemy's CT is red, and then poof! they're right beside you like best battle mates!
