I buy most of my games exclusively through steam (with games not available on steam, I buy through whatever non-steam client they use) so using steam with MWO is a given for me.

LOL I was reading that wondering the same. I think (think) he means if there are other clients to run for competitive, like a dedicated client for Solaris or FW (which could make sense if you really think about it). idk though, just got me thinking for a moment because that was confusing as F

Wow, with >550 votes 68% are on steam....

@ OP this was a great idea, given the large sample size the error on this could be rather small. That would give the community a decent way to determine how many are playing using the steam activity.

I have both installed ... just incase steam goes down

but 99.9% of my games are now launched through steam, it lets me see when my buddies are online

plus i started to use steam voice coms more and more it makes sense to me

Played MW:O when on Steam Launch and always use steam. Steam birth and proud.

I don't use any client, I use direct links to game versions and patch game with repair tool.
