Crash after CRASH after CRASH. There is NO REASON for this can SOMEONE help me out here?

Ive had it up to my eyeballs with these sackless teams ive been getting that refuse to push move or just watch you get surrounded by a bunch of half dead enemies they could kill with one alpha but they are content to plink with medium lasers at 700 meters instead of MOVING IN TO HELP YOU.

But these crashes are just about the last straw. YES ive reinstalled. YES my drivers are up to date. ive completly uinstalled and updated my drivers.

Every time i crash its when the game ends or when it starts...sometimes mid match. Most of the time the errors are these two. Especially the "Missing font"

Seems pretty clear you're missing a font. Try this:

Link

Select your OS and follow the instructions.

Find your missing font here:

Link

After that, give it another go.

Hope it helps.

you have any other games that you could try a session or 3 in see how they play ?? preferably something that loads maps ?

also check your event log look under windows logs, look under system, and see if there is any errors or warning around the time of your mwo crashes . ones of intrest would be disk warning or errors or fault buckets.

(event log can be found by right clicking on computer and choose manage.)

I got similar problem, it occurs mainly on some maps like Terra Therma. Many other maps including almost all Siege ones are perfectly stable.

If you have the game via Steam, could you try validating files?

Is it map related like in my case? For me some maps never crash while others(Terra Therma) constantly do.

You're not going to like my answer...

I've had something similar happen with a different game and after weeks of the kind of frustration, you're experiencing... I found the answer on a fairly obscure flight-sim website.

Long and short you will need to uninstall flash and use something like IOBit uninstaller to remove all traces of the install. Additionally, you will need to drop into regedit, find the Flash references and delete them as well.

Can't guarantee this is the fix but your error dump contains many of the same comments I saw in my issue to include the stupid "Times New Roman" error.

just reinstall window.....fixes allot of problems every time and if you know what your doing you can do it in under a hour. I IaM being silly but that would fix it probably unless you got a hardware error. believe it or not i have seen intermittent computer problems with bad memory or a power supply causing programs to crash. It does like a problem with flash to me though.

maybe Restore to an earlier Restore point, also try running as Administrator. Run CCleaner, and of course run a virus/malware scan.

Don't worry, PGI is monitoring the situation. They will get back to you in July when they get back from vacation.

Want a mech pack?

Appeal to ridiculean argument is made by presenting the opponent's argument in a way that makes it appear ridiculous.

And since you also used the same false logic in your other post about server issues it is a red herring - attempting to distract an audience by deviating from the topic at hand by introducing a separate argument.

Dont expect that anything will be done. Devs do not comment on this. And they do not and will not patch. The game has always been majorly unstable. Now its gotten even worse.

Still no comment.

No patch.

Instead they advertise new mech packs to purchase. And theres even a button and ways to contact a billing support team. If there is even the slightest problem with transfering your money.

Cause thats important. You can directly contact a support team. Possible talk to them on the phone and theyll sort it out.

But for crashes?

Nothing.

Just nothing haha.

Thanks for getting in touch. Your youtube video is private, I am not able to watch it at the moment.
Could you please also send me a screenshot of any error messages you may get while experiencing disconnects?

When you get a moment, please run through any or all of the troubleshooting steps outlined below and let us know if the issue persists.

Try to determine if any Firewall or Anti-Virus software might be preventing a stable connection:
- Temporarily disable your Windows Firewall or any 3rd-party firewall software and attempt a connection
- Temporarily disable your anti-virus software and attempt a connection
- If you are able to establish a connection after disabling any of the above software, you will need to add a profile or filter for MWO in that software to allow a stable connection to go through

Try to determine if your router or modem setup might be contributing to the issue:
- If you are connecting to your modem or router through Wi-Fi, please attempt a direct connection with an Ethernet cable and see if the issue persists
- Try opening the following ports in your router and see if the issue persists:
TCP 45461
TCP 45464

Release and Renew your IP and flush your DNS:

4. ipconfig /release and hit Enter.
5. ipconfig /renew and hit Enter.
6. ipconfig /flushdns and hit Enter.

Change your DNS settings:
Using the information provided either by OpenDNS (http://208.69.38.205/) or Google (https://developers.g...-dns/docs/using) please apply either of these DNS settings to your system.
Using either of those custom DNS providers is generally preferred over the standard DNS servers your ISP might currently use.

If you still cannot connect after running through these steps, please provide the results of a trace route, ping test, and DirectX Diagnostic, along with a copy of the Omicron.log located in your \MechWarrior Online root folder.
