[Gas Guzzler]

The Executioner is very underrated. Its one of my favorite mechs, I welcome the additional hardpoint this summer in the E version, it will do 2 cLPL 5 cER MLs nicely (LPL and 2 ER MLs in the RT, LPL in the LT, 3 cERML LA). The MASC/JJs are only wasted tonnage if you don't use them effectively. Especially the MASC.

The executioner mostly suffers from bad mech design and "all these slots and tons for jumpjets and I still can't reliably get up the side of canyon"

But its combination of MASC, decent torso mounts, and a strong hand of doom and wubs, coupled with clan tech, make the mech workable.

Not overpowered, not underpowered. Just awkward to build and overshadowed by other things.

The Executioner is one of my top-performing mechs, and definitely not under-powered, or under-performing..

In fact, it's a total beast!

Why is it a beast? Ok, so it doesn't have a great big loadout like a Direwolf, but it makes up for that with speed and flexibility!

Its kinda like the Linebacker is to heavy mechs..

I've killed direwolves with it in 1 on 1 fights, cose' I can outmaneuver them easily, and the MASC makes it the absolutely fastest assault mech.

Masc is also great for poking, and some omnipods also have high torso mounts. You can do various builds, but my favorite ones include a bunch of small lasers and LRMs..

I think of the Executioner as an upgraded Gargoyle.. but with JJ's and MASC.
