They already have most of my favorite mechs. I guess I'd like to see the Stinger and the Wasp, both IS light mechs.

Yep.

I would like to see the Scorpion and Goliath, but Russ already called them "circus 'mechs" and "they will never be in MY game". So I guess he doesn't like money as much as we thought.

Outside of those rank outsiders I would personally like to see PGI finish the TRO 3025 lineup -

Wasp, Stinger, Valkyrie, Ostscout, Whitworth, Hermes II, Hatchetman, Clint, Dervish, Vulcan, Ostroc, Crusader and the Charger.

Now for chances of some of these. Well the Wasp, Stinger and Valkyrie would need the magic art wand to make them less legally terrifying but given the previous results I am sure they will look good. The same goes for the Crusader. Catalyst has been making new versions of the OST series of 'mechs and so they don't present and issue but I am guessing PGI don't like them.

The other mediums and single assault should all be fine. Some will argue the Hatchetman is no go because "It haz an ax!!!" but it was always factored into the weight anyway and in MWO you can just bump it's hardpoints. Regardless I don't see why it holding a melee weapon should stop a pretty decent 45 tonner from being added.

If the Wasp and Stinger have the vague appearance of the Spider that would great.

I don't much like what I have seen of the new remake of the Stinger, I think it is on the cover of the Battletech book.

I worry that MechWarrior Online wont try and make these Inner Sphere mechs look very good. They seem to be focused on making Clan mechs look good.

Crusader hmmm I both want and don't want, because there is a good looking one from 3025, and a god awful one left over from the unseen fiasco. slim chance but prossibly more than

Stinger and Wasp

Charger

Whitworth

What makes you despise that era so much?

Tech advances that are frankly silly for the universe, that also lose the 80's-90's version of the future feel that Battletech has, in addition to the Word of Blake being unnecessary villians that are nuking everyone of value from lore, just because the writers couldn't let old folks who weren't even capable of fighting any more the dignity of dying of old age.

The favourite mech that I wanted in game, despite everyone saying it'd never make it to the game, is already in the game.

But I'm hoping the Marauder II, Longbow, Stinger, Wasp and Valkyrie all make it.

lies lies - mistaken good deeds
And writers kept their favorites - heck they even needed assassins to take out the undying false davion alien.

about ragnarock - lava gun? nope

Götterdämmerung on the other hand - with more critical hits why not. ...although after 5years we will never will see critable actuators, engine or gyro.

so Rising Star - 0% although the Legacy would be a perfect addition.
Thug? do want...

to be direct - i only want to see mechs from now that could be somehow added to hbs battletch... oh rising star again

Yup, this is pretty much how I felt.

Late era Battletech was really bad, it was just a crass way the new project leaders put their stamp on the game, by trying to wiping out the lore that came before.
