Hey all,

Huge apologies for the ninja change here. An unintended value change for the Clan ER Large wasn't caught during the testing of new values in this patch.
A fix for this is slated for inclusion into a potential hot-fix; I'll keep everyone posted on further updates as to when we can expect the hot-fix to go out.

It's an inconsequential one.

And if they added an extra point of heat, they should roll it back. It was unnecessary.

Many might not be happy with the changes coming in the next patch, but have they tested every energy weapon on every mech? Probably not, but some tester might find that 5000% cooldown glitch on that one mech with that one energy weapon that they didn't bother testing.


Just putting this out there for those that argued with me about not doing a PTS for energy changes on the roadmap thread, and their buddies who liked their post. Just saying.

But you'd have to think that they would list an increase to the heat of the cERLL in the patch notes, in the specific section where they list other changes that they have made to the cERLL.. They went to the trouble to list those changes, why leave this one out?

You realize he responded to you mentioning something about the cERPPC "nerf" in this "ERLL" thread.....so yes, you are the one that is dense apparently XD

If you don't want people to comment about the cERPPC, then don't mention it in your post in the first place, especially since it wasn't really a nerf since heat generally limits your DPS more than cooldown does with the cERPPC anyway, ezpz.

Brawling.. well up until this smpl nerf, was how many drop decks have been built. Pretty much be building around double NVAs half the damn time.


No, not quite.

It's 3 Novas and a SPL Mr. Gargles.

The ACH is a solid mech but with a niche role. A good brawler Nova can usually get into range (with a good pilot) to do his goodness on about any map and with/against any team.

All that's going to change on that is ERSML instead of SPL. 60pts is still a hell of a lot and being able to do it at 230m (with skillz) helps.

He is talking about comp, not FW, specifically MRBC where brawling or pushes were fairly common even in the heavier drops.

It's still not near as effective because it had worse DPS AND worse duration than the old cSPL build, and now the duration is worse than before on cERSL. Sure it has a bit more range but that doesn't really change that much when you have damn near a 50% increase in duration compared to the cSPL Nova.
