Nobody plays?!?! Yea, I can see how you would think that PLAYING SOLO IN GROUP QUEUE. Sitting there waiting to get clubbed by playing QP with respawn.

However, for those of us without social issues, ability to learn and listen, ability to double click on TS/Vent icon, the mode is far from dead and full of people playing with insta drop after insta drop.

Really making a name for yourself, hope you are not bullshitting when you said you are not playing CW anymore, cause your experiences are going to tank worse then they ever have.

Well P.G.I opened their E-comp servers so you can expect a big hit on the already terminally ill FW population.

wouldn't surprise me if the FW servers get closed sometime in 2018

Or not because they are totally different arenas.

I find that dropping in FW after competitive play is actually really relaxing and I doubt that FW focused units would abandon the mode, even if they start dabbling in comp queue.. Dynamics of the match and prepping up to it are so different that playing comp doesnt remove the need for a FW fix, and vice versa.

If you go clan, due to the current state of Faction Play and a general low population in MWO, long waiting times have returned.

Faithful IS units seem to be back while good old clan ones are either giving themselves a break, switched factions, got weakened or dissolved... I was planning to go IS this week but I missed the window to change contracts.

Had a drop with IS in my alt account and was almost an instant one.

Now it is better only to try FP during several times of the day, unless you don't mind spending plenty of minutes to get matches there.

It's opposite atm.

Clan Loyalists have gone into hiding the past week since half a dozen Merc units got sick of wait times and went IS.

Hell, IS has been winning phases all week! It's IS that is ghost dropping... That's when you know the population is low due to an event.

Be even better if FW felt vastly different to quick play.

Wasn't too bad to get a game for a change.

Yup, Clan is the place to be for quick drops right now.

The Templars dropped four CW matches last night with between 10 and 12 of us in each drop and all were basically insta-queue.

We faced a few BCMC guys in a drop, took a 10 minute smoke/bio break then readied up and dropped again... and got an insta-lobby with those same BCMC guys... which means they were sitting there waiting for a match all that time!

Edit: We're doing CW again tonight starting around 8:30 EST so queue up if you want some more matches, we'll be around.

Or, they won in the time it took for your smoke break and readied up. Common for matches where teamwork is in employ to finish quickly when there is no teamwork on the opposition.
