Mine is...


Are any changes planed to IS STD Or XL engines, How are the going to be balanced with LFE's, and Clan XL's.


My thoughts are

Maybe something similar to clans, but a harsher penalty? Like a large heat reduction, and speed reduction verse death.. (anything is better than death right?)

LFE, a small Heat/move penalty, (maybe something like 10%?)

STD, No penalty, with structure buff.


So what are you curious about?

I love the idea of making the IS and Clan engines behave the same. Then all that's left is removing all the IS positive quirks. DO IT NOW!

I have some questions, faction set up and possible balance with Civil War. And future of mech pack options and sale structure?

1. Will Faction Warfare be reshuffling the buckets around? Instead of Clan v IS wpuld be STIENER V DAVION ect?

2. New factions for the buckets? Like (Clan) Wolf in Exile as an IS faction? Clan Nova Cat sides with? (Ability for Clan Mechs on IS side but with Clan factions?

2.5. On flip side Ghost Bear Dominion for Clan Bucket? (Merger of CGB and FRR)

3. If totally New bucket set up, how will the map Reflect the FedCom Civil war due to more "Hotspot" like battles not a solid front/boarder.

4. Jump Jet buff for Class 1 jets? (The 90 to 100t JJ's)?

5. IS omnimechs? Is there any feelings to avoid or implement them?

6. Are the recent Civil War Packs the new model for mechpacks? Or will we return to monthly single packs down the road again?

7. Add some premium time back to the base $20 pack (14 days instead of 30?)

8. What do you guys plan to do for the fate of Smoke Jaguar in Civil War?

Can you give us some idea of your long term balance plans after new tech drops? I realize that some rebalance will be needed as data comes in, and that there will be some iterative balance pass(es) sometime after, but can you give us any sort of assurance that now -5 years in- that substantial stats changes, be it to weapons or mech base line performance, etc. will cease or at least be minimal; and if so when can we expect the semblance of stability in mwo?

To put it another way: I want to go back to my free spending ways, but I won't until you give me an idea of if and when I will have at least a reasonable expectation of what I buy isn't going to be nerfed into garbage a month later. I'm sick of it, and I want it to stop. So please tell me if that is ever going to happen and when.

Have you finalized the mechanics for MRM's (and Rocket Pods)? How will they fire and how fast will they be?

What about Heavy Lasers? Are they just an exceedingly long burn duration?

Will the Heavy Gauss damage drop off incredibly rapidly over range like it does in lore?

Light Fusion Engines... they will render Standard Engines completely obsolete unless a mech requires 11 or 12 slots in the side torso. So other than that and making them cost a ludicrous number of cBills, are there plans to balance them?

How are they going to handle the up coming UAC/10 and UAC/20 for the IS? Burst fire or single shell? There is grounds for it to go either way.

How are they going to handle the up coming HPPC and LPPC? Are they going to get the same 90m dead zone? If so, is the HPPC going to be kept at the full 15 pin point damage? If so, what are they going to do in give incentive to mount the LPPC that will do the same damage for the same heat as an IS ERML for three times the weight and twice as man crit slots?

Are they going to rework ECM with the inclusion of Stealth Armour?

I have a few:

1) Can we expect our new balance overlord to finally fix jump jets (make them all behave the same - use class 4 as the example), extend the reticule shake or hell even eliminate shooting if not on the ground, but let us maneuver again.

2) Since the new Skill tree eliminated the 'rule of 3', would PGI consider allowing us to buy new mechs a la carte as they did with clans? This way they could offer more if you buy the full pack.

3) Since mobility is a very important statistic - would they please list it when they offer mech packs? I will not buy an assault mech that can' twist and turn.

4) PGI's decision to no longer offer banked premium time has stopping me from ordering the artic wolf, do they realize that banked premium time was that valuable to players?

is this it for the new weapons? future weapon packs planned? retrotech?

can haz community created maps?

of course i know how these usually go down. the only questions that get asked will be ones that already have answers. the only questions that get answered will be obvious. and no new information will be gleaned from the experience.

Yeah, PGI doesn't answer real questions. They wait for pizza to arrive for the first 30 minutes, then NGNG throws them softballs and then Russler gives us a three hour sales pitch. That's how PGI's Town Hall Meetings Twitch-based Sales Pitches operate.

Question for you , how much better do you think the game would be with a new map?

The odds almost 50-50 the map wouldn't even be liked by the average player.
