I purchased this and it was supposed to be available on my next login, but it's not there.
Is there any way to force MWO to sync with steam?

when did you purchase it, and do you still not have it?
I have never redeemed a MWO order through steam so am not certain about the procedure but something purchased through the MWO store should arrive in your account within an hour, if it still has not arrived check your email account (including the junk folder) to ensure you were not sent a code to redeem, and if it is still not there try contacting billing@mwomercs.com, as well as steam billing (I am not sure which would deal with it) and explain the issue.

in my experience, it can take a few hours ... steam packs are like a hacked in DLC, and its different to everything else ...

Just restarted Steam, issue resolved.
You'll know if its not syncing because the steam overlay will not load with the game.
