How does that impact one and done launchers? Who cares if I kill my Locust to murder your Atlas, I call that a good trade 20t for 100t.

Sure, give the suicide mech direstar class heat. Doesn't really matter, since even if they explode they are already weaponless for the rest of the match, and therefore almost useless.

See and that's the issue I personally have with that mentality--A good Locust pilot can take down that Atlas, albeit not as quickly assuming you hit your mark, but cause so much more havoc and continue contributing afterward... It's just such a waste to me.

how about you don't let light mechs in your back? Just think about it, even in CW. You see a horde of light suicide bombers jumping over the gates... light mechs you can lolpha before they even get in range.

I still doubt this is an insta-win button for most people because they won't even get as close as they have to or just miss a moving target.

Tested it yesterday and it didnt event cored the atlas.. instead the damage was spread
all over leaving the atlas front armor intact, showing only one torso part light orange.

Archer 5W 250m range on crimson strait.
