The Gateway to the Draconis Combine

T'was a sullen day when the Original Kurita TS failed, but the stalwart champions of the Combine refused to falter. Instead they called upon their FRR brethren and hatched a scheme to combine their two teamspeaks. Since that day the MechWarriors of House Kurita have fought, died and won on the new Kurita TS alongside FRR and other IS pilots.

The Kurita Hub is a TS3 server open to all House Kurita/DCMS pilots and associated outfits. As communication is the key to success it is our hope that the DCMS and unaligned pilots alike will come to the Hub to coordinate in their fight against the Clans.

The Teamspeak3 VoIP client can be downloaded here FOORRR FREEEEEEE, and the Hub can be accessed using the information below.

DNS Address: frrhub.isengrim.org
Password: Dragon

If you have any questions or problems with the Hub feel free to contact a unit Sho Sa, myself or Scuro.

Hi, I'm Cart from the 11th Legion of Vega.
I want to ask for some Channel in your TS/Discord for our Unit, if that's possible.

An I want to suggest something, and it's really just a suggestion...
When I entered the DCMS/FFR-TS, I was overwhwelmed by tons of channels. It's quite hard to find the fitting channel for one.
So, would it be possible/make sense if the channel were somehow grouped by languages? And I really mean languages, not nations. We are all Kurita/FFR.
The thought is: If ther's no one online in the Channel of my unit, and I want to drop with someone else, I could start simply by looking in the other channels of my native language and if there is too noone online, I could go on with foreign languages, which I also understand...this could make it esier to form groups which can communicate...

a real sorting would probably mess up the existing structure, but an additional tag on the channel would basically do the same.
+1 for this.

Sure, there's a lot of activity in the ts, but in the 2 hours I'm in there, there's been a handful of people in lfg invasion - max 2 at a time, mostly one - and just me in lfg scouting. If hanging around in one of the most active (or so it was said) IS ts server doesn't help getting an organized group, what else will? I'm willing to try FP for the current event, but not solo.

Try during primetime, or go into channels titled "open drops", or "factionplay"

They arent going to go to you if they dont know you normally. You gotta find them in their channels and ask if they have an opening. They dont bite.

Primetime of which timezone? Late evening/early night of EU didn't work. Posted Image

Yeah, but I don't know them either. I'm a bit shy, so these LFG channels seemed like a good place to be found. Didn't want to start with invasions, so scouting would've been my choice. The unit specific channels I didn't try, empty or appearing to be a group belonging together.
Ah well, it was worth a try. I'm still short on mech bays, so the free one would've helped. Maybe in the next event. Posted Image

How can a unit reserve a channel? How much does it cost (for a unit have a channel) and how does one pay to "rent" a channel for a unit? Thanks!
