Just curious, wasn't an issue before, but suddenly tonight, seems like nobody has any situational awareness, just cockblocking, running into your fire (or arty strike, oy vey).
Just wondering if there is any point really in having a TK timer in the PTS.... or Supply Caches. (Yay I won an imaginary supply cache!)

Potatoes are growing?
I dunno what to tell you, but those timers need real work in the regular game.

Over half seem to play IS and IS got two new missile systems which fire unguided missiles.
Best thing is that hilarious stealth armor. Nearly no one yet knows that when using it, you lose all frienly markers. People see someone not targettable nor without friendly blue box, they shoot it, and get surprised to find out it was friendly.

It's the nature of 4 vs 4. During my limited time in the PTS, mostly brawling, close contact is what I noticed. It's too easy to get whacked by team strikes. I think the TK timer should be in place. No skin off anybody's butt in the PTS. But players still should be in the habit of limiting team damage with strikes. the TK timer kinda of reminds them to be more careful. No wants to sit in the penalty box for any reason.

Seriously? I guess it makes sense from a lore standpoint (broadcasting telemetry data is the opposite of being stealthy).
And I suspect it's going to be good for some laughs.

you know you are wasting your life when you open said supply caches just to see what you win. wierd thing was i hit 2 mechs, a dekkle and 500mc. to bad i dont get to keep any of that stuff. when i get back to live im going to get nothing but omnipods, cbills and the occasional lrm20. and im up to my eyballs in free keys. havent seen a cache in 2 weeks. i suppose i can just play scouting for a week, assuming the month long next event doesnt kill it.

I think it is that nobody cares about the Test server so why even worry about team damage. It is kind of like in WoT where you can't really realistically test anything due to the fact, everyone just shoots gold ammo on the test server with wild abandon.
Also I think another factor is some of the new weapons systems. Take the RAC for example. It has a spin up time so by the time you are actually firing it isn't uncommon for someone from your team to actually have run in front of you. Also the Clan Heavy Lasers Beam duration is absurdly long. I already have an issue with getting team damage penalties in the live environment when using CER LLs due to my teammates running through my beams before the duration ends, so it isn't surprising that weapons with a 1.7 beam duration are going to have the same issues.

I got three mech bays and no mechs out from 18 caches that I opened with the 15 keys I won from the Summer Event (I got 3 cache keys from 1 cache). Also got around 200 MC total. All in all, I'd say I came out ahead.

Funniest thing is people voting incursion on a 4v4 PTS server. The lucky team is the one that loses so they don't have to choose between A ) Hiking it to the enemy base b ) Disconnect and eat the penalty.
