Twin RAC5's (no other weapons) I struggle to overheat. Can only manage to do it on my Cyclops with XX DHS if I time a long burst perfectly after letting the spool-jam bar die down enough to do so.
RAC5/2 combination, I struggle not to overheat.
What's the heat relationship supposed to be because the weapons don't seem to ramp up in a predictable manner that I can utilize in a match to manage heat.

Yep, you can run two rotaries on one group in group fire and they make less heat then two rotaries on separate groups fired together.
They've almost got the rAC5 in a place that's good. I was packing one on a La Malinche and it's a fun gun. Ran a match vs Lukoi, in fact but I was in a Quickdraw that one drop.

Yup. was just testing RAC's, couldn't believe how horrid they kinda are atm.
PGI in a tough spot with them. In the lore, they are usually the centerpiece weapon (like a GR) for mechs, but if you dial them up strong, there are too many mechs that can boat them which would make them too strong.
I think better DPS, better spool-dynamics are in order, but with a higher ghost heat to reduce the boating of them potentially (or some other limiting factor). Really want to like them, but in this game, high burst alpha beats sustained DPS almost every time and RAC's are clearly not that bursty atm lol.
