Excuse yourself, you have not been playing the game in the last week but let me take the time time to explain. "Meta" changed due to small pulse lasers being nerfed. Cheatah is still effective due to its agility and utility. Wolfhound is a beast tho right now

Wolfhound is only okay with it's armor buffs but that's it, the cheetah even without spl still be a better choice over the hound, and being a humanoid 35 tonner that's the size of a medium/heavy does not help out much even with good speed backing it up. And I have been playing so don't make assumptions the cheetah is still being fielded more than the wolfhound, locusts are being field more than the wolfhound. And even with the spl damage **** they're still good weapons to bring in a knife fight it just to a little longer to kill the opponent.

I agree yeonne with you. 6 small lasers is ok.. 4 small 2 srm 6 is ok. 5 to 6 med is hot for an artic cheatah.

Although the wolfhound on the other hand can saftely run 5 to 6 mediums/medium pulse on it no problem. One has 10 percent heat gen. Plays exactly like a cheatah except most of the lasers are torso mounted.

I had one with 4 mediums i would use every know and again..

The Cheetah has still 2 things going for her:
1. Range (changes somewhat once the IS ERML arrive)
2. ECM (having no radar blip if you position well is still great)

Artic cheatah b 6 small pulse ecm 1.5 w/l kdr 1.9

Wolfhound 5 medium pulse 2.0 w/l 2.5 kdr

Im not even a light pilot. Medium/heavy guy myself.

Thats what im saying, i was running my ppc guass, flamer ebon jag for about 3 or 4 weeks. All of a sudden was seeing a ton people using the same build. Must have shook up some cockpits hehehe.

35 ton mechs such as my beloved firestarter have suffered a lot since the rescale. theyre almost as big as a catapult in size.
but a nerfed cheetah can still do its magic as shown by this screenshot. this was solo queue.
dude in the cheetah is not a good light pilot btw.

I have a friend who i see do 800 to 900 damage plus in a commado and a panther in group q.

Thats a very stupid Method ,teh most parts in each View is covered by Other Parts (feets in Overview-Arms in Sidview)...the only real Measurment for Volume is with a Real 3D Model and a Medium like Sand or Water, all other is crap .and the Models by MWO only Fantasy
