That's some impressive skill - but did you accomplish it 'without even trying'?

The Meta of this game is something I have a love/hate relationship with. Some players only run Meta mechs because they only care about winning. I'm not that kind of player. I play for fun. Sometimes "fun" builds coexist with the Meta, sometimes they are fairly far off from it. The only difference I see with most Tier 1 players is how beaten down they are by the Meta and how they adhere to its dogma. As the community has stated before, Tier level is an experience counter and at Tier 1 a lot of people submit to Meta.

I made an alternate account almost a year ago and found Tier 5 to be much more creative...in good and bad ways. Sometimes you fight players with ridiculous builds which make no sense whatsoever, but also you don't usually get chewed out by some Meta-obsessed try-hard for having anything different than a singular template competition build over VOIP. It's exciting to never know exactly what you are up against after facing the same cookie cutter builds copy-pasted off Metamechs, or some other guide for the uncreative souls.

It's at the point where you HAVE to run the meta or at least certain powerful mechs or you're in for bad games because you're performing so bad comparatively.

I would love to goof around in a lore shadowcat , but when i die doing 78 damage and my team flames me its going to cause me to not have fun.

I am not the salty one (believe it or not) I am laughing FAR to much for that claim to stick.

You still have not explained how your adding damage to the formula does not screw over lights though.
You DID specify that it was needed, after all.

Also:
You chart (interestingly enough) only shuffles up how the current system's shifting changes.
Which itself proves my original post in this topic (and the whole reason I am here!) right.

And the part of your post I was originally responding to a lie.

Go ahead - keep proving me right.
I am still laughing as you prove yourself not only an open (and self-admited!) liar, but a stupid one at that. (as you would have to be to so openly admit to it)

How does me not playing on this account make me a liar?

Edit: Figured it out.
I had to play on this account long enough to get through the new player period.
Otherwise your account is limited to one section of the forum - and only so many posts a day at that.
But then, intelligent people who read the patch notes know such things, do they not?

As frequently as other light classes?
As reliably as other weight classes?
As consistently as other weight classes?

Then why is the light que so consistently, frequently, and reliably so much lower?

you are only claiming that you are a bad light pilot as long as 90% of playerbase.
Taking heavy assault only, because in this way they/you can solve your and thier bad positioning with armor, and solve bad aim with a lot of weapons.

ALSO, read well, this has nothing to do with depuring the tier 1 class from potatoes, because a potato is a potato even with heavies or assaults.

What's ironic is how most of those complaining about PSR/Tier now are the ones celebrating it when it was new bragging how it would be better at 'keeping out the bad players.'

Here we are today. Posted Image

And you are deeply wrong.
Many many many predicted this.
Also, players like Sarlic left mwo for tier with no zero sum reasons
