Especially when the man who claimed there wasn't one has already admitted (repeatedly) that there is?

It invalidates the fact you're claming light's can't do damage. In the hands of a bad player, that is most likely true and even more likely where you fit given you're making those comments.

I implied that they cannot do it consistently
I implied that they cannot do it reliably

I even agreed with the example that it was very possible


But I never once said that they could not do it at all.

What's ironic is how most of those complaining about PSR/Tier now are the ones celebrating it when it was new bragging how it would be better at 'keeping out the bad players.'

well I did not know how the ELO system really worked

and I don't know how the new system works all I can say is I am not having much fun

and I am probably hurting other tier 1 players
because 1) I should not be in tier 1 in the first place

2) me getting 150 dmg match after match just hurts the other players
hell I cant even pull the trigger enough in a match to get any better

Edit: Figured it out.
I had to play on this account long enough to get through the new player period.
Otherwise your account is limited to one section of the forum - and only so many posts a day at that.
But then, intelligent people who read the patch notes know such things, do they not?

As reliably as other weight classes?
As consistently as other weight classes?

Then why is the light que so consistently, frequently, and reliably so much lower?

I am well aware that they potentially can deal as much damage - ANY mech with access to any laser weapons can potentially deal infinite damage. 6 or more hardpoints and the potential within a match skyrockets
I have had multiple matches where I ran through the enemy team, completely ignored as the focused on the 'greater threats' my my teammates were.

Does not mean my mech is as good as theirs in a competitive environment

Does not make them as potent as the others - otherwise people would not consider mechs such as the MLX and such to be so low tier.
To be such bad mechs.

I avg more dmg in light mechs and more kills in them then any other chassis i own.

All your commentary sounds like is that of a T4 level player. Why? Because it's those users that make silly comments because they are quite simply not good at the game. Nothing wrong with that but don't tell good players what they aren't capable of.

As I've already said, all I need - is just little respect. I've invested around 750$ into this game. Yeah, I haven't bought any 'Mech packs, cuz I don't need any Light and Medium 'Mechs. I buy only those 'Mechs, I like. But I've bought several Assaults and Heavies a'la carte, I have Hero variants of almost all 'Mechs I have and I have paid camos on all my 'Mechs. And what do I have as result? Being constantly used as cannon fodder for Tier 1? Is my 750$ not enough for PGI to respect me even a little bit for my contribution? I just DON'T WANT TO PLAY AGAINST TIER 1S AND 2S, ESPECIALLY AGAINST TOP PLAYERS, LIKE MS AND GGBI! Please, keep them away from QP!

I can manage 469 average damage in the Kit Fox and I'm not even that good of a player. A top tier light player will easily be managing over 500 damage in the same mech, to the point that 500 damage would seem like 'no effort'.

The way PGI's Elo worked was ******* terrible. And it was worse for being on a team of complete potatoes. If you were good and had a really high Elo score then the MM would put a heap of window lickers on your team and expect you to carry them because you made up 80% of the teams Elo rating.

I also remember having to wait anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes to find a match, even when solo queuing.

The only ones celebrating were PGI fanboys. Everyone with half a clue pointed out that PSR is broken by design right when they announced it.
