I watched a 'mech that was unable to both rotate and move at the same time. It'd line itself up to where it wanted to go, walked forward for a bit, made it to it's destination, deliberately rotated itself, then accelerated towards it's next waypoint.
I have a hard time believing any human would ever move their 'mech in that sort of fashion. Even a child or a potato would still probably, if only by accident, turn while walking. Weapon usage was also suspect, but it wasn't etched into my memory as much as it's movement patterns.
There are definitely bots playing this game... not many, no. But a few.

If PGI has bots I hope they're added to the academy or something. I need something to duel when I get bored with the main game.
I went into the academy a couple of months ago to practice headshots and was surprised to find that they have added bots. If you wander to lower or upper city (left hand side of map), the bots will activate and start coming after you.

There should be no automated players (bots) in Quick Play.
Players using bots in Quick Play are in violation of the Code of Conduct.
Such misconduct can be reported via the in-game player context-menu or
by emailing moderation@mwomercs.com with any evidence and/or details.
