Allow me to take a moment of you morning/day/evening/night to talk about the slowly approaching (Literally) onslaught that is the Annihilator.
Lets start by saying that these behemoths are the battlemech equivalent of the Imperial AT-AT Walker.
Just so you don't seem like a fool to your friends these guys are AT-ATs.

Hopefully you've seen Episode 5 and watched these bad boys in action, slow right? How slow do you think an Annihilator will be? Faster perhaps? Well no.... Fortunately though, PGI's taken our advise as a community and given it a max engine cap of 300, so fast as a Dire Wolf.
So when the time comes next week and you're on the team with one of these monstrosities, here's a few helpful tips.
1. Don't let your Annihilator get flanked. All his guns are facing the main force, don't let a few sneaky buggers get around him or you'll be scraping bits off the floor for weeks.

2. Don't be a ****, escort your Annihilator. I'm specifically talking about this ***** (Not Luke), he just abandons those AT-ATs, my guess is he went to chase a squirrel, and look what happens to them while he's gone.

While he doesn't have much speed he has more power than you could possibly imagine. Case in point.

Annihilators need their hands held. You'd help an old man walk across the street right? right?
3. You've probably worked out by now that Annihilators will be slow. You could probably use your slow *** Annihilator as bait, to lure in some sneaky buggers before moving in for the kill/s.

(Seriously, if you haven't seen OtaKing77077's Tie Fighter video on Youtube, go check it out)
4. If you're working with other Annihilators, work as a team. Cover each other's flanks and co-ordinate.

5. If you're taking your Annihilator out for a stroll, don't get tunnel vision, keep aware of your surroundings and where your teammates are. I think these guys got a bit too eager when chasing the trash.

6. Lastly, can't say this enough, don't let lights get close to your Annihilator.

or this will happen.

If you happen to be versing these juggernauts please keep these in mind.
1. Don't walk in front of it, not unless you want to be this guy.

or these guys...

2. If you're looking to get close to an Annihilator, don't run straight at it.

Try to get around it, force it to turn towards you so it's not shooting at the main force. The longer you keep it occupied the better your team's chances of winning.
3. A flanked Annihilator, is a dead Annihilator. That armour's too stronk, aim for the neck.

Good Luck.
