'cept no where do they say that the art is final. I'm also sure that they tell you up front that the final model may differ... So they cover their asses on the whole false advertising side.

I should look to see if they say final model may differ.

Eh. Concept art is a concept, I'm not gonna ***** about some minor changes more than saying "yeah I would rather it look that way". The mech looks fine, it looks better while in motion, and its gonna wreck face even better than how it looks.

Eh, I dunno. Its shape and size have me thinking it's going to have all of the same problems the Stalker does with preserving side torsos, or it's going to be a CT magnet. The weapons payload is great, but I'd temper my expectations on its durability.

Still a higher standard was held... More salty they said they would try and fix things and did nothing!

No no! They rotated the Gauss barrels!

Lol.

But yeah, the modeler said he did that but had to talk to other people about the other changes. He probably got shut down/told not to, so in reality he probably did try but his boss(es) said nah for whatever reason. Just because one person says he is gonna try doesn't hold the entire company to that. Especially given it was a "try" not a "I will for sure make those changes".

Shield arms of it look good to me. Weapon slot positioning is an A-.
Now its just about the torso yaw angle that will decide if it is actually a solid mech.

Everyone is a critic these days, it's either the legs too tall, too thin, I hate bow tie legs, arms too small, gun sticking out, etc., etc. why can't we enjoy we getting some highly popular mw4 mechs in the game.

I mean, there is no doubt in my mind that it is going to be good enough to wreck face in... That doesn't mean its going to be the best mech ever, ever.

Look at the concept art... people are wanting it to match the concept art!!!

I mean, that's a pretty empty statement considering you can wreck face with a 'Mech as bad as a Mist Lynx. Need more context.

So I checked the FAQ, the store page, and the receipt. None of them said final model may differ or not match concept art.

OMG sue them !!! Over a pile of pixel not arranged to your liking.
It was always like that and actually I have to say the models were always VERY close to the concept art.
This is seriously one of the few things that we have to give PGI kudos for.
The artwork and mechs they make are great.

No, just that its gonna wreck face fine (as even a mech as bad as a Mist Lynx can wreck face and this will surely be better than that because it can at a bare minimum mount 2 ER PPC 2 Gauss).

Not this time and I'm not talking about suing them. Rather they fix them... but keep being over dramatic.

I dont think they will do that honestly. What they do is fixing serious issues with mech hit boxes and weapon slot placement if it exists, but redoing an entire model just to match the artwork more closely is nonsense.
It is quite some work to do the modelling, texturing and rigging mind you.
From my experience I would say all three take about 200h per mech with their level of detail. Thats more than a month of work.

People placing their expectations way to high even for reasonable standards, and guessing they do know it that t won't be 100% like the concept art especially when they have to work with four models within a set timeline, and not some easy task to do.

But hey it's not my problem people placing their expectations on a platinum pedestal cover with rare gems, and other exotic stuff on it, just to be brought down to reality.

Guess they should have fixed it back when we were shown the t-poses of the mechs and provided our feedback.

They have months to model these things the majority of the time is wasted because all the useless camos that have to be put on Posted Image

Sure, pay PGI 50k$ and they will certainly listen to your feedback.
As I said, concept art and mechs are one of the only things they get right most of the time.

Who are you to judge the usefulness of camos?
You dont like them others like them very much.
Different people, different priorities.

And overall, if you dislike PGIs work just don't buy it. It's as simple as that. End of discussion.

Proof, also if you want them to focus on models only go put a job application for pgi modelling team and put them on track, or what do you perceive that they need to do.

And while you sulking over the model I'll be enjoying my new toy. M'kay?
