Yes, I am aware that it is a business decision and I know why they chose to do that, but that does not make my previous post any less accurate.

I guess if there were meaningful differences between the factions, like unique Mech Variants, or unique Quirks it would be different.

Thing that worries me most is the upped PPC velocity.

Say hello to PPC's everybody. all PPC's all the time. Pesky fast lights poking and sniping with PPC's, able to effectively engage and score hits at 1000 meters.

Plus the justification for it is weird. 'Gauss PPC is bad, we want to nerf it! We're going to do this by making Guass/PPC work even better together by giving PPC's the same velocity as gauss!'

In my opinion RAC should be availble only for loyal IS players, e.g. only 10 clan mechs owned since they appeared. They are just too powerful. Yup, it's radical, but it will be nice reward for all the pain that IS pilots received from Clan pilots.

Building my Uziel, I find that for some reason, a stripped uziel weighs 1.5 tons more than it should.

Edit: To clarify, a build on Sarna which would total 50 tons actually takes 51.5 tons in MWO.

Have´nt read all 29 pages, so pls excuse double reporting, but HBK-4P´s model looks like it does´nt care about the "new ppc look like old ppc logic" :E

Yeah, the jumpjet glitch was brought up in the demo video yesterday... they know about it...

You will only have one Cougar H head until they drop for Cbills... It's the way it's always been. After they drop for Cbills you can buy more pods, until then, you're stuck with what you've got.

The patch notes say that weapon visuals have not been retrofitted for all Mechs yet. There is a short list of Mechs who are already updated. The notes make no mention of when the other Mechs will get the visual updates, I assume that it will be a few chassis each patch for the next few patches.

A question: the ATM's say that they do 6, 12, 18 and 24 damage (2 per missile), but in the damage profile it starts at 3 damage per missile and goes down. Which is true? 2 per missile at optimal range or 3?

2 at "optimal" range, but it's (still) 3 damage short range, 2 mid range, 1 long range.

I think the RAC screen shake needs to be turned down a bit... And the MKII's walk is horrible... otherwise, I'm pretty happy so far n.n

I saw someone in game claim that his Mech with stealth armor was dissipating heat with Stealth Armor activated but it is not supposed to. Can anyone verify this is happening?

Now that both the Caln and IS have UACs of all sizes, will there be a review of ballistic quirks and UAC jam reduction quirks?

I have noticed that many IS Mechs have ballistic velocity, cooldown and range quirks. A few also have UAC Jam reduction quirks.

The November 2016 patch significantly changed UACs with increased jam chances and longer cooldown. This change was made to control dakka boats. Mechs that can only equip one or two UACs ended up being collateral damage. Most of them became poor builds due to increased weapon jams.

For example, I ran a HBR Prime with 2xUAC5 and 4 erML. After the change, my match scores in that Mech dropped by about 50. It was far from being a great build but it was one I enjoyed. Now, I am forced to run the Hellbringer as laser vomit to have a good build.

If nothing else can be done, would it be possible to give Mechs such as the HBR Prime that can only realistically carry one or two UACs a jam reduction quirk?

Not sure if this is the correct place for this, but why does the UZL-6p have a "IS MACHINE ROF" + 20% quirk? Like am I missing "omnipods or something?" So the hard points are for lasers, is the "IS MACHINE GUN ROF +20%" for AMS only? Just needing a bit of clarification, or will this mech in a like future patch get "ballistics" hardpoints?

If you read the bottom of the patch notes, there's a "known glitches" section, and the incorrect quirks are listed there. :)

Put a 300 in it :P I won't run anything less in mine... Only 100 tonner I ran smaller than a 300 in was my Founder's Atlas, but newtech has let me up that a bit :D

why are IS lbx's getting triple max range while clans lbx's are max range is double min? complete bias towards IS on this issue

why does the IS ultra ac only fire 3 slugs and the clans fires 4 slugs?
