As I told Guzzler, those sniper mechs will have to stare longer to finish off the alpha, which means they are more vulnerable to counter fire. And ERLLs spread damage like crazy. You can't read apparently.

I'm not either. The laser+gauss loadouts will wreck face. The Nightstar on the other hand has nothing going for it that can't already be done in game.

I want to cancel out of spite because this is dumb AF and they are listening to the wrong people, but.. I dunno, 86 damage alpha on the MCII will be very strong.

Doesn't matter, cause Gauss vomit will be inferior than PPFLD spam--the fact comp build preferred PPFLD over Gauss vomit is the proof of it. As I said before, I won't complain about Gaussvomit.

All these people complaining about the 'death' of PPFLD, and using edge cases of laser vomit doing more damage, are completely ignoring the usability of the system and it's method of damage delivery.

Sure, you can get more damage out of heavy lasers and gauss, but you have almost no chance of delivering all that damage to the same location - and you're going to have a lot more face time delivering it - not to mention having more downtime in between shots cooling down.

There's a world of difference between 80 points of gauss and laser vomit delivered to multiple components, and 50 points of damage delivered to a single component and crippling a mech in one volley.

People are going to have to get used to risking their paint a little more.

All in all, perhaps the fast brawl Meta benefits the most? Nerf to ppfld and laser vomit heat... Cspl got back some heat efficiency, no nerfs to srms, rockets, cmpls, mpls.

I believe you are totally ignoring that era of the overnerfed PPC-Gauss in which laservomit was yelled to the high heavens to being the most dominant option once the overnerf PPC-Gauss era started. I'm sure it'll take a year for some people to catch up (maybe 60 to 90 days at least).

Well, the worm turns again due to balance for potato and complaints.

Got news for y'all, potatoes will still be taken out just as easy with the lazor vomit as with Gauss/Ppc and the complaints will resume in T minus a few days after the change.

And laser vomit alphas may be very high or have been at least, but that is a whole other story, they function much differently and just took some overall nerfs, and will likely take more. The high damage lasers are generally also becoming high burn, so it may make things more interesting.
