Russ just tweeted that they will be working on the MKII animation.
"No eta yet but will hope to get it in next patch."

I really hope they do fix it, and this doesn't become the new IK.

seeing the Hooping Daishi ballerina , or the Run-over-the-Terrain sliding urbanmech...the most Animations in mWO terrible ...handfull looks good ,like the King Crab

Eh, the animation is only as bad as the Dire Wolf.

I think the Grasshopper's is pretty cool. I quite like it.
The problem in implementing the DW's animation into the MCII is that the latter is lankier and taller. It accentuates how bad the animation looks.

Uziel, MadCatMk2 and the Direwolf all need better walking animations..

Except when the King Crab has an large XL engine and is going 70 kph.

On a positive note , I think the Ebon Jaguar has the coolest walking animation.
However , the Atlas still skips around.

Would that be too much to ask? An animation overhaul and pass? Might fix some mechs that clip,ie Supernova,and Crab.

MkII currently resembles a duck the way it walks.
Atlas is OK. Plus it looks kind of sexy the way it shakes its butt.
King Crab is a standout success I agree. Actually I think the regular Crab's walk looks cool too, though yes it's physically impossible.
