What an Earth is going on here?

First I overheat at ~70% (at around 0:30). I hit override, and my 'mech starts to disintegrate while at 40-60% heat.

I knew LAMS generates heat, but I didn't expect things to escalate this quickly. Posted Image

Was my 'mech really way hotter than shown by the heat gauge, but LAMS somehow messes up the display?

First thing; testing on the PTS has shown you never want to have more than 1 LAMS. They are just way to hot.
Second thing; Yes, they are waaaaaay hotter than what the current gauge can handle, and it is a bit of a display bug.

Yeah, I tried the LAMS on the PTS -- in singles and in doubles. It was definitely a bit hot, but nothing like this. This game felt like the LAMS starts firing and 20 seconds later I'm dead. The 'mech was pretty well sinked, 16 DHS.

Sounds like a bug to me, or that the client got out of sync with the server on the heat somehow
