so i guess its use is making LBX40+ and critseeking.

Yeah. But don't seem a good enough reason to stick with a standard engine unless you're already running a standard.
Also not nearly as satisfying as dual AC40.

The dual LBX20 Mauler can be used instead of the quad LBX10. They both need standard engines.
The former now has a little more weight for a bigger engine at the expense of range and recycle rate. At least the LBX20 projectile velocity is higher then the LbX/10's....

Already been doing that on the Clan side for awhile. They'd be a lot worse than they already are if they had GH.
