Yes I know there are plenty of the threads asking for new maps...
Is it maybe because there was no new map in ages and people feel it, can we maybe have more maps now

PGI has not the Manpower and Experience for animations and good Models ,and Russ say in the last Townhall ...Citymaps to difficult ...Waht doing the good Mapteam from last year, That recreated the old Maps ? leave to other Company ? now make other Things?like animations ,Coding the new Weapons? and make Weaponmodels ? make only Highcost Devs the Maps?Why not lowpriced freelancer for Mapmaking or talented Commguys ?

My guess is we will get a new map in the next few months.

they really need to give us a megacity map thats laid out in city blocks

and no really open areas except for maybe a park area

its been ages since we got a good brawler map

I dont understand why its hard for them to make a city map. Why dont they just make a small section and copy paste it?

Heck i dont even mind if they re use and copy paste all the current city sections they have now into one giant city map.

huh? every map has junk your mech can get stuck on. not really unique to city maps.

viridian bog has all kinds of junk you get stuck on. canyon has all kinds of rocks you get stuck on. HPG has invisible walls you get stuck on.

the only maps that dont have junk you get stuck on are like alpine and polar highlands. alpine seems to be a pretty popular map for some reason, but I dont know anyone who likes polar highlands lol.

Pgi wouldn't have to spend what ever they claim to make maps if they'd let us make them then have them go through some sort of quality testing. It would be cheaper that way. Even if it was a generic spawn of assets already made and textured so we could just copy paste like those cars found in the cities or the same rocks from canyon on hpg just different texture. Reusing already created models,animations,textures is a no brainer but pgi lacks that so much. Just have us vote on best map of the month and every month or two add in a few new maps.

All you really need is a four grid straight line for solo que for the easiest map or just a basic map like that 'test' map from private matching that is 4x4 i think. That one that is basically an open arena with muti colors and one platform and nothing else.

i dont mind porting old MW4 maps with the ****** textures, meshes and all Posted Image

Urban maps are now too difficult? Did he use the word "lostech" at all?

Jesus, the story of this game never stops to amaze me. I guess it's something to consider if they ever try to release MW5.

They have to make mw5 minimally viable first. Give them 90 days. Soon bro,soon. Until it goes for sale on steam it doesn't exist to me. I won't be one of those pre-order-ing it but I still hope they have hbs and catalyst behind the scenes working on it. I'm expecting vip level ai and Capt crazy Adams though so it will be fun to watch game play on youtube at least. I sort of liked Cap Adams from the Academy.

Hey maybe if we spam the forums and cry about new maps loud enough, maybe we'll get some? Its how nerfs and new mechs are made, so why not maps?

each Forrest Map more difficult...most of trees, bushs is placed by Hand ,when you not use the Generated Vegetation Tool, thatsbring most bad looking generated Results...each part of terrain is handpainted with amny Textures and Layers for good looking Areas...dry Grass...Rocktexture,Split Rock texture ...up to 10 texturelayers by a 100x100m Field..in Citys most Streets , easy painted with the Road Tool of the Cryengine...when you not used the Streetsmodul assets ..
For Citys -Take Assets with no Collisions Model ,like the most Trees ,or Cars or delete the Collisionsmodel (its no Problem in the cryengine give each object own Properties) or use destroyable Assets (Streetlamps and many Trees)...Problem in Viridian the many Not destroyable 3D Models of the big Jungle Trees ... each Forrest map more difficult ,als placing Big Cubes along Streets and copy and paste Streetplaces with streetlamps and Little Details ...in 8 Hours you have a completed 400x400m Building Square...more a Problem of Manpower ..2015 one Year no new Maps ...sorry say russ, all working by the FW

Its IGP ...Its the FW ...Its ???? and MW5...Five Years PGI not found and Searching Guy with Cryengine Experience ...now all with UE4 Experience working for PGI ?

Its interesting to the Mechcon 2017 , we seeing more of the Last MW5 Trailer or the same ,or it give 2 Weeks before News of the special MW5 Facebook page ? last news of it 4 .12.2016
