Ive never used the Wolverine before but I actually bought the -7K as I saw those missile quirks and the hardpoints.....

Wow what a mech! Nice in line high-mounted hardpoints all in line with the cockpit - MRM`s really make a viable and most importantly, fun way to play with this mech.

For the first time since early beta I am actually really enjoying missiles again.

Anyone else having fun with the Wolverines or MRMs?

Ive had some fun with my Mrm Wolverine, but Ive found it to be all or nothing - bad positioning/ bad luck results in a terrible score (for me at least)

Yea I just had a match on Forest Colony that was very much this, our team was outpositioned and crushed. Ive been having pretty good games with it all weekend though.

Im litterally the only Wolverine in 99% of battles :D

Not put MRMs or much of anything yet on my Wolverines, but have put an MRM10 and 20 with an SRM4 on my Shadowhawk 2D

I tried them. I felt like a gorilla flinging poo at someone. Nope, thanks. I will stay away from that

My initial impressions on MRMs were totally wrong. They are truly amazing. For instance, look at the Quickdraw 4G... The max you could previously get with those two missile hardpoints was 2 SRM 6's. Now you can have an MRM 40 in the torso and MRM 10 in the chest. That's a 50 point alpha from 517m. You can also use up to an LFE 335 with this build going around 90. Thing is a beast. I just got out of my first match with MRMs and I was very impressed. They really are deadly and extremely powerful. They spread, yeah... but the damage is very high and you can lead targets / hit multiple targets at the same time (it's very cool too! heat wise). Very fun. Suddenly this mech can fulfill a role it could never come close to in the past. Awesome! Now I want MRMs on everything!

I've been thinking of getting a wolverine or a butterbee to act as a semi mrm boat. Already have mrms on one of my maulers, and I'm liking them, but I want something smaller too.

I was looking at the BB, looks pretty nice. You can fit an MRM 40 on each arm with 5 t ammo running about 70 kph. Not sure if 5t is enough but I think it may be.

mrm 40 on the huggin is fun and has scary dps. Shot out the back of a mcmk2 with two shots before another noticed me.

I've been having an absolute blast with MRMs. Literally just had this match in my beloved Belial:

this thing still has its 40% uac5 jam chance quirk. was going to go with a pair of uac2s when i noticed that. then throw on 15% jam time reduction.

Any opinions on what the better MRM50 combo is? I am trying a 2x MRM20 + 1x MRM10 on the 6R and 1xMRM30 + 1xMRM20 on the 7D.

I've always enjoyed my 6K with MPLs and a SRM6a. May try to swap that out with a MRM20... never know.

I pack a MRM10 instead of an SRM6 on my Uziel 3S. I like it much and it synergizes well with ERSL.

I've tried some dps mixes, but ran too hot, because the RAC5s add too much heat on top of the MRMs.

Wolverine with 3x MRM10, 1x ML, 1x RAC5
Zeus with 2x MRM20, 1x RL20, RAC5 and some ML
Mauler with 2x RAC5, 2x MRM10, 2x ML (or something like that)

Maybe I can finally get my Marauder, Warhammer and Orion with low missile hard point numbers to better use than with LRM.
And my founder Cat likes the new toy too ;)

I ran a couple of games in the all missile slot Catapult (i forget what its called - I think it came with the mastery bundle).

I mounted twin 40s, put 91 points on it and it was fun to play - range was at about 500 and you can at least two alphas off.
Im now wondering if I can squeeze in another launcher or two and still have enough speed and ammo to make MRM100 worthwhile.

Great fun and easy to play.

I also put MRM50 on my WVR-7K and it felt amazeballs. First match was 1100 damage, 3 kills. I could put MRM60... but you have to give up soooo much tonnage to bump it up an extra ten tubes... and I find having 6x JJ to be strangely worth. Also, runs so cool, can shoot for days. Lots of fun, and is very effective against fat slow mechs at medium range.
