Stupid question, but are these matches you're doing in faction play?

Not a stupid question, I just thought about that and checked the contest rules then came here to post "never mind". In my memory there was a non faction play part of the contest. My memory was wrong. Damn Chemo-brain strikes again.

Would be nice if there had been a quick play part, but alas, there isn't.

only thing i dont like about this event is that its keeping me from my anihilators, they are too slow to use in fp.

I made the same mistake OP. Made me immediately stop playing for the day, because screw faction play. Just a bunch of funnels to walk through as you get shot or shoot. Boring. And often times the winner is decided after the first wave of one side dies.

I'd much rather have some variety. Even if I don't get rewards from it. Not worth my time in FW.
