With its missile hardpoints fixed and the addition of light engines and new IS weapons, the Victor is one tough and nimble assault brawler. Throw 3srm6+A on the 9S with whatever combo of ballistics and energy that pleases you and rock on. Personally I went with max alpha, with an AC20, Snub Nose PPC, and 3srm6+A.

Charge into battle twisting away damage and brawl it up boys.

Maybe this weekend I'll get around to trying them out. Only did a few cursory drops in the Dragon Slayer with just a standard gauss/LL build. Should try changing it up some and try different roles. Snub PPCs might be fun on it.

Edit: Just tried 2 SPPCs, ac10, and mrm10. Not too bad. Going to work now so will try more later.

Yeah I would drop the SN PPC. AC20 and the missiles is good.

Yeah it is. I have been trying to figure out a build for my Dragon's Slayer with the new tech and haven't be succesfull because even with LFEs, it is just hard to cram in decent speed and still have decent firepower. I mean at the bare minimum I would want at least a 325 and even that seems a bit slow at only 65 kph before tweak.

Maybe this:

Still doesn't seem quite optimal though.

Ew. For the DS, I would say screw the LFE and use an XL. You aren't brawling so just play smart.

How about this (ignoring front to back armor distribution): http://mwo.smurfy-ne...a7ced2957543f19

Could go bigger engine/more jumpjets by dropping the PPC down to a LPPC.

The Victor really deserves this.

One thing with similar capability was just the HGN-733C buat that robot is slower and can't jump as nimbly.

I doubt the Victor is competitive. So much wrong with hardpoint placement on that robit compared with meta-highpoints™.

The victor is one of my favorites.

I have settled on this build and its worked for me http://mwo.smurfy-ne...a0f8feaec6684f2

Could be a few things different. Trying to remember off the top of my head.

Meh. I can do 3xASRM6+AC20 on an Orion and save 5 tons in CW.

Meh, i didn't want the hardpoint fixed, i wanted to have a mrm 40 streaming from the 2 tube launcher for blinding along with my flamer arm and ac20 + srm4's for maximum fun, unfortunately PGI finally fixed it just before nutech dropped Posted Image

I dont know about nimble anymore...it got nerfed in it's mobility and the zeus has better standard mobility now. Plus, it's torso twist got nerfed, so now it is the middle-of-the pack. Plus, it's weapon quirks got nerfed (at least my 9b); only thing it has going for it is the armour quirks, but the Orion as just as good, just as fast and better weapon quirks.

Yeah the LFE is a godsend for the Vic, no more getting killed because of the wide torsi on the first laser vomit...

Victor still rocks with dual UAC5s and LFE plus whatever else you want to put on it. UAC20 is also alot of fun. I prefer ballistics over missiles... missiles are good for alphas but in a sustained fight ballistics are generally better for me... of course a nimble light or medium with missiles is deadly...

ENJOY THE RETURN OF THE VIC!

Hwo bout this then? 3 mrm20s and a rac5 with an LFE instead of XL.max dps24, sustain 14.42 before skills.

farming damage by spreading all over...

Sustained damage will kill a Victor. If you have to remain exposed, you're dead.

You are on the right track... but I have more fun with 1UAC10, 1SNUBPPC in the arms, and 2MLs & 2SRM6Artemis &13 heatsinks w 325LFE & endo & light ferrous

Hits like a truck but make sure you have the heat quirks... I run the fire groups like so to make it a good brawler:

1) ppc + uac10
2) uac10
3) mls+srms
4) srm chain fire
