you guys need to do more lore research. the Bushwhacker and the Uziel are both OMNIMECHS. their lore says they were some of the first IS omni mechs so why the hell is the bushwhacker just like every other IS mech ? but hey again i guess you threw out following the lore a while back. (the mad dog is supposed to have 360 degree torso rotation). honestly i don't think PGi is even listening to people on the forums any more so jsut venting some of my frustrations is all.

really jsut tired of seeing new mechs get released that arn't given their proper lore.

I'd love to know what lore you're referring to. Nowhere have I heard of the BSW or UZL being Omni-mechs, nor the 360 torso twist on MDDs outside of MW4 (fun game, not canon though).

http://www.sarna.net - the BattleTech wiki, refers to sources including technical readouts and novels, and holds some info on apocryphal content and it's origins too.

If I remember right, one of them (both?) was designed to be an Omni-mech (and Mech4 game them both omnipoints) but were changed to Battlemechs when production started due to the lower costs of battlemechs (in the TT game, like the MC Hero costs, Omni mechs cost more)

The Bushwacker was a failed mech, that when captured Vulture plans were applied, it corrected the flaws, but it was never an Omni itself. http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Bushwacker

The Uziel doesn't even mention the word Omnimech. http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Uziel

Nope both are inner sphere trash and are battlemechs.

On a side note actually Inner sphere OMnimechs didn't exist outside of the Draconis combine for awhile anyway.

So if you really want Lore only Dracs get omnis unless salvaged or stolen in which case their probably VERY expensive to maintain. And even then we're still 2 years off http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Raptor

oops sorry didn't we push the timeline???

Fun fact the Mad Dog Mk II which made it's debut in MW4 is considered cannon.
