[Anatidaephobia]

Hi there,

I’m trying to assemble a list of every unique skin for each mech; including mechlab screenshots of each variant [Front, Left, Back, Right].

Now, what defines a “unique” skin : A skin that is not visible in the in-game store, and cannot be fully recreated with ingame means.

A TBR-C(S) is not a unique variant as you can get any TBR and apply the Phranken pattern with the specific colours.

A MAD-3R(S) IS a unique variant as this is only available in the collector’s pack, has a non-reproducible pattern and cannot be previewed in the store.

Now, the issue is, I’m not a millionaire, nor do I have a time machine to go back and get some of these mechs that are no longer available- Here’s where you come in; if you own one of these listed mechs, please send me 3 or 4 screenshots of this mech in the mechlab; decals and custom colours removed [but it doesn’t have to be saved] Example here

If you notice any missing ones [special promotions, …], do let me know!

And as to why I'm doing this, I honestly have no idea, I'm just curious for the most part. ^-^"

PS You forgot Founder's mechs. Though i do not know if unique geometry can count as skin.

If you want a definitive list, create a file listing from the cryengine .PAK files. There's a lot in there, some stuff I'm pretty sure isn't even used in the game - like non-metal default camos for clan mechs.

Well, for now I'm just looking for the unique mech variants; not quite just camo's and stuff. If I ever get this one finished, I might add in unique camo unlocks and the like [* no promises, though].

I'm getting some help from Kanajashi who's sending me a literal crapton of screenshots to go through; so I'll see how many are missing when I've gone through that folder.


I'm not counting hero mechs, since hero mechs are [or will be] available in the store for viewing; these are mostly the ones unavailable in the ingame store.
