Hey PGI, is there an eta on the graphics fixes for the new weapons, and the MK-IIs animation? Just wondering.
I'd be more excited for a new mech if the ones currently in game looked as good as you seems to think they should.

Well, that tickles. I was reading Sarna a couple of days ago and remembering what it was like to run around in a Thanatos.

It tickles even more because this particular lore 'Mech variant is actually published in a TT resource. Now with extra fluff!

Complete the last Mechs I bought and that you half-delivered (hint: animations) before I will even consider buying new Mechs.

PS:

I notice you're no longer even trying to hide how pay-to-win the Hero is: 10 hardpoints vs maximum of 7 for the other variants, and the only one with a CT hardpoint.

What a shame you decided to give up on what was once an admirable principle. I guess that's consistent with the way you no longer seem to care about MWO in general.

You are assuming that it will have no quirks. To me it is a Grasshopper with ECM, so this mech is a no-brainer for me. Plus I am not an IS whiner that relies on OP quirks.

well. The Thanatos. Looks cool. But PGI why there is no 20t Mech for the Clans? We have a gap since years in the 20t area. I wait for the Fire Moth, Baboon, Piranha. But now we see a brandnew 75t IS Mech which is already filled with Black Knight, Marauder, Orion. And 5t more or less a lot of others which do exactly the same as the Thanatos. Yes, he looks cool, no questions. But i hoped you do something for the Clans after the Civil War Patch with all this funky shiny stuff the IS received. As seen in the last 14 Days the Tonnage we get are not comparable to the IS.

But anyway. Everybody celebrates the cool looking Thanatos. I dont expect that someone who makes decisions will read this. And i dont see any new Maps on the Radar. I am dissapointed.

Yes, according to Sarna (summarized), the Lyran manufacturer originally created the Thanatos with Omni-Tech that bought plans for from Kurita, but the Lyran purchasers were no longer interested in Omni-Tech and the manufacturer quickly redesigned the Thanatos and delivered it as a BATTLEMECH. So any Omni variants never made it past the prototype phase.

I believe that it was stated in a recent Q&A that the Pirahnna would be the next light Mech, so I hope you like 12 MGs with hardly any ammo.

well, at the moment i would take *any* 20t Mech they gave us. And yes, the Piranha 1 is not so usable, but the Piranha 2 with the ER Micro is a good anshwer to the ultra fast hit and Run Locust...

Its an interesting mech I guess. The ecm and speed looks nice im just a little concerned about those side torsos.

While I dont believe that PGI has "given up" - as others have pointed out those madcats still have that funny walk. I was smiling to myself watching one walk past me earlier today.

The top half of the MCII looks mean, badass and imposing. The dinky little legs with the awkward walk look funny however.
