Any one know whether we are in the right time line area for the Argus to make an appearance...Always my fave in mw4 mercs.

Yes we are in the right timeline for it, and right now PGI is adding a lot of MW4 nostalgiamechs so the Argus is actually a pretty likely candidate in the near future.

According to my poll (link in sig), the Argus is the 3rd most popular remaining IS heavy, behind the Crusader and the Avatar. Of those 3, the Argus would by my personal preferred pick.

Of those three, I'd take the Crusader... the Avatar has issues to put it politely.

urgh.....it's so similar to the Phract, low mounted, blocky torsi, and sadly, the fact that's it's a IS Omni will make it even worse.

The Argus has been right at the top of my want-list ever since the tech update was announced. Seeing the Thanatos pop up, so close on the heels of the Osiris, Nova Cat, Cougar, Mad Cat MkII, Arctic Wolf, and Uziel makes me very hopeful that it might be just around the corner... PGI seems to be drilling the MW4 nostalgia hard.

Argus?

OH GOD NO... I hated that mech with a vengeance.. it would loose it's "arms" in seconds.. whatever I would mount there, I could not count on..

If they put it in MWO, hope they give it some good hitboxes and structure quirks.. cose' it's so easily disarmed that it's not worth it's tonnage..
