Mad Dog will be able to run 6E; the -H cbill variant has a left arm with 3 energy hardpoints, which could be combined with the -B right arm for 6 energy hardpoints in total.

That would allow for 6x HML or ERML.

Probably would be. I'd rather go with 6x ER Small.

Still, even without the hero variant, the Mad Dog will be able to run 6E, so it can do energy based builds like 2x Large Pulse + 4x ER Med, or 2x HLL + 4x HML; I think I'll be giving 2x HLL + 4x ER Med a try.

It gets anyone on the fence about buying them to check everyday to see if their favorite mechs have quirks that appeal to them, and therefore is good for sales (getting you onto the page everyday) because a number of people will do a last minute preorder, statistically speaking.

The new Arctic Cheetah is great but the Shadow Cat is complete useless.
Are you soo angry that a Shadowcat with 2 weapons on the shoulder or arm would overrule all other? Or why they are so underpowered in Hardpoints?

Because people complained about the old shadowcat version and P2W allegations.
PGI actually listens to the community, for better or for worse.

Looking at the Ebon Jaguar though I think the D variant offers a unique placement of Energy hard points with a 2 energy hard point right torso.

Problem obviously is how easy they are to take out on it.

Its a canon variant. Its because of those P2W accusations. And FINALLY a missile hardpoint in the left torso. Any idea how long I actually waited for that opportunity? Better yet I can get it for c-bills and recreate Sigma 2 from this video, yeah looks like at least 1 missile hardpoint in each side torso dosent it?

I dont that much if its hardpoint starved, its about filling in missing omnipod gaps and because of canon.
