Again, Potato Facetanking(born from the fact that most 100 tonners are slow and fat) in addition to the fact that CGauss has no real downsides are to blame here.

Moreso the agile assault with high mounted hardpoints

It's no longer agile

It's subtle and shifting with PGI. New cash robots generally have advantages early that are "balanced" away around the point where the robot is no longer cash-only. Then, a new cash chassis appears, and the process repeats.

PGI prefers a "cash now, get advantage" vs. permament pay-to-win systems. Applying subtle pressure on F2P by making consumables so very good and spammable is another example, rapidly chewing up C-bills in the name of maximum effectiveness and making MC more attractive to get for new robots and such, even after they're no longer cash only.

Its the business model and we deal with it.

As long as there are cbill variants that work well, I don't care.

I am kind of jaded over the Night Gyr probably having worse handling than a Madcat MKII. The Gauss PPC nerf also kind of did away with a predator to the new ultra gauss vomit and laser vomit. Its basically like 2014-2015 except there are new lasers and Gauss Peep is essentially banned.

its taken you this long to relize it?

i knowticed it when my catipult became a friken unicorn and thats one of the most verstile heavys -_- well originally was before they took the torse twist away and a couple other things ontop of that.

oh and getting rid of knockdowns, the flamethrower blind effect, or lrm shake/blind the games became a generic shooter with a single quirk of you can disarm your opponet nothing more.

There shouldn't be exclusive content for $$$ only. It's ok to sell +30% CB/XP bonus, exclusive geometry and camo spec for $$$. It's ok to have time-gated content for $$$. I'm patient enough to wait for several months to get it for free. I don't even care about temporary OP 'Mechs, cuz I don't want to be competitive anyway. But it's not ok to sell exclusive variants/omnipods, that don't have any free analogs with similar power. May be it's tolerable to have variants, with several hardpoints changed, but it isn't ok, when Hero variant exclusively have best hardpoints.

Tell that to the people who went utterly ballistic when PGI wanted to see the Project Phoenix variants again.
