Ill probably pick up both the RNs that were in the reinforcement pack.

Had PGI let us start picking 3 of 5 mechs in our packs (now that rule of 3 is gone) I probably would have spent real money on this.

In the same ship. Gotta sell excess weapons and heatsinks. Just make sure I've got a decent amount left of each type though.
Its all about the money.. erm C-Bills. Too many mechs, to little time, and alot need maintenance and up/down/ side -grading Posted Image

They work really well with 280 Lights, and about 15-20 nodes of the survival tree focusing towards the structure nodes first and the armor nodes second. I prefer building with shotguns and streaks or MRMs.

I've gone from 140 million C-Bills down to about 20 million since the new tech dropped. So much to try out, now the Roughneck becomes available for C-Bills. [expletive deleted] my life.

Hmmm ... so far ignored this armed forklift ... but at closer look ... quite interesting. Looks like a perfect candidate for a Light 280.

But which variant ... *scratch head*? Posted Image

Russ Twitter

"We have decided to move the IS tonnage down to 250 and try that for a bit. However we likely won't adjust this until after the (War Chest) event"

Nothing since then about a change of plan except your also looking at FP population balance (nothing even stating if that is related to tonnage change)

So i guess this change will go ahead AFTER we have bought ourselves a 260ton 4 roughneck deck ???

1B is my favourite of the c-bill available ones. 3 Streak launchers or 3 MRM10s. A shotgun and a pair of MGs with an AMS. On my alt...an LB5 w/4 tons, and 3 MRM10s w/4 tons works with a 280 Light.

2a for brawl 3a for range are the best 2 (i bought a 1c already for a uac20 4srm6 build ,aswell, wishing i hadn't, the 2a build brawls better.)

Technically they're all identical for agility/structure/armor... it just comes down to hardpoints and the minor weapon quirks... which are related to rate of fire only. There are no velocity, spread, heat or range quirks for the weapons, and the 3A with all the energy hardpoints has no weapon quirks at all now (pre-skill tree it had a -5% energy heat quirk).

2A for zombie, 1C for SRM/MRM splat, 1A for general ballistics builds. The 1B is nice with ballistics, but you really have to get used to the arm mounts of the guns. The 3A is general las-vomit meta if you're into that sort of thing.

Question: the people who bought the Roughneck: worth to take a closer look?

Surprised how few of you are interested in the Javvy. Pretty good little light mech, honestly. Energy and missile varieties, too!

It's not up till next month for c-bills. I'm sure you'll see a bit more interest in it then.

Yes. If you like how the Shadowhawk plays, then you'll really enjoy the Roughneck as hardpoints and hitboxes are pretty similar.
