I keep getting these information popups stuck on my screen in the mechlab with the only way to remove them is by either playing a game or quitting the game it's quiet frustrating when it blocks Crucial information.

Have you tried just gently floating past the "HardPoints" 'Paper Doll', so it can't glitch easily? That used to dismiss those on the previous version of the MWO Client for me. I haven't had the mind to Patch yet and try checking out the latest update to the game, likely due to the depression I'm feeling at the moment over the allowance of New Players to be able to skip the Tutorial.

Bring the paper doll back up, hover over a component, then mouse off. It should disappear. Minimize.

It's annoying, but there are workarounds apart from quitting or launching a match.
