The decals when applied, drop down several pixels below where they are being displayed as going to be applied. That means you need to guess, and try to apply the decals above where you actually want them, and hope they drop the right amount to fit where you want them.

This issue occurs with all MCI variants, and is not occasional. (this always happens, and has since the MCII released)
