I've had at least 2 matches where I've killed 2+ enemies while TAGing them, and I've got no TAG event progress.

They died while I was TAGing them, so whats up with this event?

I like the overall looks of this one. Plenty to do, and it seems plenty time to do it in. And I have enjoyed adding previous warhorns on my Mechs, so always interested in new ones. Plus the spacebucks.

Seems there is some confusion about what some challenges actually mean or how they can be achieved. Not to mention I am also pretty sure those 'Protected' categories don't work like that. You need to drive the Mech type that is protected, not be the one doing the protecting iirc.

I just checked, I achieved those two playing in Lights and Mediums just now, haven't touched anything heavier (made of metal).

@PGI: How about swapping the Tournament Bonus rewards for QP goals and FP goals, so that you get a retro handheld warhorn as a supporter bonus in FP and a retro arcade warhorn as a supporter bonus in QP?

That would give the pure QP and pure FP players a paid alternative to get both warhorns. If you'd want 2 of each, you still have to complete both goals, if you're content with just one, you could just join the ranks of the tournament supporters instead of having to suffer through QP or FP.

Original event where you can get exclusive warhorns, with plenty of time to do so... That's what makes events like these stand out, thanks.

Nonetheless thanks for this event, I already got my first warhorn. Very nice stuff.

You have to actually do the event. Like, for example, you want to get a Black Radio warhorn from the event. Just having the tournament supporter bonus doesn't get you one, but if you complete all the goals to get ONE (without being a supporter), you get an additional one for having bought the supporter pack.

Actually now that it's mentioned I think I do recall a prior event where they also failed to clarify that the TAG kill had to be achieved with lockons.

Most challenges with specific weapons and kill requirements require you to unlock an in-combat achievement.

Killing UAVs requires "UAV Kill."

Then there's "Protected Light, Protected Medium, TAG Kill, Component Destroyed, Solo Kill..."

Gotten kills in my streak crow and my atmdog while tagging neither even not the tag kill show up once but no credit to event

Is anyone out there kind enough to record the sound of some of the new warhorns? I may have to dedicate time to just getting a few and not all and hearing them would be a great motivator!

I just tested the TAG Kill achievements. It seems you need to use BOTH a lock on weapon and deliver the killing blow to a mech you are tagging. Doing only one or the other yields no TAG Kill popup.

First post after OP is mine, exactly asking for this. I don't know why they have not provided sound sample, usually they post warhorns to SoundCloud.
