what would you consider a mech with which you have simply the highest possible DMG done in solo queue ? (average dmg, or record dmg).

All mechs past 1500dmg, 4 or more kmdds and some kills and assists.
Highest regularely: Hellbringer with around 400-500 dmg and two or three mdd, kills and assists.
MAD-IIC is close up but gets focused more so less regular results.
Record effectiveness was when the Hellslinger Battlemaster was new on old Terra Therma 7 kills over 700 dmg (no kmdd cause the stat has not been intruduced at that time) and damaged the rest of 'em. Going into a brawl on a hot map versus a mech that is nearly uninfluenced by the environmental conditions is .... unwise.

But I generaly pilot only clan mechs, so I am not well versed with IS mechs.
From my personal experience, Kodiak-3 regularly turns in 1k+ dmg games.
Mad-IIC is also reliable to return those damage numbers, some variant even higher.
But currently the Mad Cat MKII is proving an even better assault that performs reliably well.
But my highest recorded damage was in a HellBringer.
The HBR performs regularly good in solo pug matches as the ECM can make it almost invisible to the pugs naked eye xD
Ebon Jaguar are also a solid damage performer.
For mediums, my performance in them is rather erratic... But the Shadow Cat and Storm Crow can be very reliable mechs.
As for lights, clans don't have much option. And if you are after damage numbers, althoigh lights can produce those 1k dmg games don't expect them to perform like that regularly

King Crab 0000 ~1300
Nite Gyr ~1250
Top Dog ~1200
ACH ~1150
The King Crab, Boar's Head and Top Dog were done without consumables, and the Top Dog game was my ace of spades.
basically any clan mech with 6+ decently high energy mounts can hit 700 consistently in the modern airstrike / coolshot meta. and most IS mechs with 8+ high energy mounts can hit 650 consistently. Mechs like the Top Dog and Warhammer 6d both have 9 high energy mounts and can average 700.
I have 31 games in the hellbringer total, just hit my first 1100 game after playing with some civil war tech, adding the new right torso and playing with the skilll tree a bit. Over the 31 games I averaged 703 damage. I hate to say it because I just got on the bandwagon, but this thing is going to be hit next because it was already strong, and it just got silent buffs for 2 patches in a row. Its crazy strong right now.

Builds that work for me are my gauss vomit with 1gauss+1HLL+4ERML, all prime pods for the broken 10% heat quirk, and laser vomit with 1HLL+6ERML (i will pull out teh aids vomit from time to time and its 78 alfa strike, but the previously mentuioned build is WAY better for solo pubs due to better sustain and still more then enough alfa to 2 shot a ST off with perfect aim). The gauss one is especially brutal since it has ~5.4 sustained DPS (compared to ~4.8 for the HLL vomit), 61 alfa strike, and the ability to rip people into pieces if you can juggle between the gauss and lasers since one is hitscan and the other PPFLD projectile. If i can avoid being focused (not too hard with ECM), and the game doesnt end in 3 minutes, its pretty much guaranteed 800-1.2K dmg. Ive even started to recently get good results using 2 ac-2 (yes AC-2 not UAC-2) with the same energy weapons the gauss build has. Its much harder to use but its quite fun, runs super cool if you avoid sustained combat (2-3 alfas max), and it has like some stupid amount of sustained DPS since ac-2s are cooler the uac-2 and can be spammed the whole time on any map.

Some other mechs are likely more effcient, although the statistics for the awesome are ... awesome, my best ones regarding winrate and K/D wise.
And yes my Hellbringer is also one of my most efficient mechs, however in contrary to the popular ERML + HLL builds it build up it goods stats with 4ERML + 2 ERLL

It is configured as a LRM boat 2x LRM 20, 2 x LRM 15, 4 x ERSL.
This mech is a beast and if you know how to play a LRM boat right it's a hell of a fun.
I know many don't like these boats but I have 4 LRM boats among 95 mechs so why not use the best chassis for it.
I was also very close to 1.600 dmg with my MAD IIC Scorth (also a boat), Stalker 3 H (boat) and Kodiak 3 4 x LBX 10 and some lasers.
All these mechs consistently reach highest scores (1000 dmg and above) and are real funbringer and money maker.
But very often I have the same fun in mechs that reach just 300 dmg but provide a good and different gameplay.
Holly cow, I really love those stompy robots and this game, all so it's really lacking content and needs a break every one and then to find new motivation.
Have fun.

Hi panzer,
It took along time for me to love the HBR but now I do. Standard laser vomit.
And after reading your post I changed one into a 2 x UAC2 and 3 ERML. What a blast.
Had a game with 4 kills and 4 assists. But we lost 11 to 12 because a nearly undamaged ACH was too much for me.
But really a nice setup. 4 out of 5 games where really great. One was horrible.
Thanks for this hint.
Have a nice time.

Highest average damage is with... a Grasshopper of all things? WTF? I don't even like the Grasshoppers.
If I restrict it to mechs I played at least 10 matches in, it's a Stalker followed by a Timberwolf. Catapult is up there though.

Orion-IIC-B 1159
Annihilator-1E 1143
Crab-27® 1178
As for consistent highscores both the Orion-IICs and any Highlanders. Clan Onions i tend to get 500-700 pretty easily, IS Highlanders 400-600, Clan Highlanders im not as consistent in and get 300-700.

As a half way decent player, I can safely say the below:
1. LRMs are bad. Focus fire on torsos nets more damage, every time.
2. Most weapons is a fallacy. I can crack 1k easily with just a 40-45pt Alpha.
3. Game mode means nothing realistically.
4. Map and temp is irrelevant. It takes the same amount of damage to kill a mech no matter the ambient temp.
To get high damage/kills etc is not so much about the mech, but much more about the skill of the player. I regularly see KDK3 pilots fail to break 300dmg because they are bad at the game. Put the mech in the hands of a good loot, 1500+ easily.

It pure purpose it to refute all the misinformation you posted because if the OP takes it up, he will not get better or achieve what he is asking. Mechs with all the weapons/LRMs are not the answer at all. Especially at higher Tiers of play.
