1. You are now beholden to a ton of international financial regulation because you're doing international money transfers. PGI runs out of Canada so there's a lot of KYC that they will need to do to let people participate in this.
2. You're now running a casino so there's even more regulation domestically and probably internationally.
3. What happens if someone pulls out too much money?
4. Have you seen what matches look like? If you want to line the top 200 players wallets that's......a decision.

The EU is trying to put a stop to predatory gambling practices in games... and you just want to add something like that in?
Go ouside and find a casino to dump your money in if you're that desperate. Leave MWO alone, it already has enough problems as it is.

It's a fun Disney Land idea, and something I could definitely see spicing up tabletop games, but it's just not sensible here.

Nor is there anything stopping two players from setting up a private wager themselves if they want to do this sort of thing. Which I cannot imagine anyone would, but there's a dozen different ways to send cash around if people want to pony up on a game of MWO.

Ethical considerations aside, this is exactly the issue. I think MWO almost got banned in the EU once because supply caches were too similar to gambling.

You seem to still not feel bad about proposing this, which is what I told you should happen. So let me reiterate it in smaller words.
At best, this is a dumb idea that feeds a demand that doesnt exist. At worst, its probably illegal and would lead to MWO being banned in multiple countries or shut down altogether.

During that time I came to the conclusion that I would be more comfortable selling f***ing horse tranquilizers in supermarkets than being involved in any way, shape or form with any gambling operation
Gambling crossing into online spaces and gaming was inevitable but horrible and every measure that can be reasonably taken to keep it at bay should be taken
