Today is my 65th birthday. I plan to retire from the workforce soon.
However, I don't plan to retire from internet gaming. I decided to treat myself to a Falcon Northwest computer. Star Citizen, here I come!
I started late in the world of multiplayer gaming. My first stompy robot game was Starsiege back around the turn of the century. Started playing MW3 when support for Starsiege was winding down. I played MW4 Mercs/ MekTek for a long time until MekTek shut down the servers. Logged into MWO in 2014.
My time here has be truly enjoyable.

Happy Birthday! You have me beat by a couple year but I beat you on the retirement. I bought myself a sportscar for a retirement present and then spent a couple years and too much money modifying it. Now it sits in the garage and I sit on the computer. Maybe i should have done what you are doing. Have fun and enjoy your "freedom".

Thought about doing the same thing. The problems is , I have no where to park it. I have 2 cars in the garage now. No way will I be parked on the street. I had to endure a couple of hit and runs while parked in front of my house.

Congrats!
Happy Birthday.
My first big stompy robots was star siege as well and I'm 32 so I was quite young when that game was out.

Happy birthday! From now on, you are eligible for a senior discount on all Clan Diamond Shark products!
But seriously, congrats. And I'm going to wait until I hear news that SC is a proper game before I log in again. Until then, I'm going to be using Elite Dangerous to play out my fantasies of a space cruise liner pilot.

Keep on keepin' on buddy! Enjoy kicking back, cracking open a cold one, stomping around in war machines of death and destruction and mushroom stamping banana heads.
