Before you guys try to get into ESports or introduce new Quick Play maps, you should try perhaps to make the endgame more accessible so you can sustain a playerbase to make those "cosmetic" changes, yeah new weapons are fine, new skill tree, great, but what is when players want to move on to faction play? In the end, the endgame is where the music plays and that is the place where players stay in the longterm, well not at the moment when you look at your faction forums....I know the people will chime in, the faction play is for the really good guys, the hardcore ones, but that is not how a mmo survives and evolves in my opinion...discuss.

A 'mech warrior's end game is death.

Yep. I keep stockpiling creds and MC based on the prospect of future updates, not what is currently in game.

+1 for personal Dropships, Jumpships, space travel, mechbay expansions, player character customization, mechbay crew salary, repair and rearm, etc.

Theoretically, an online game with a "end-game" is about as useful as a box of rocks in a leaky rowboat...
If what you mean is a "purpose"... That went out the window years ago when the game pillars were thrown out the window with any hopes of MWO being anything but ankle deep.
MWO 2017 =/= Poke'mech... Gotta get'm all.

Personal drop ships? For what? There is no where to go?
Space travel? To where? You travel all over already but this game isnt about the journey its about arena fighting mechs so why show us any of that nonsense or even develop it?
mechbay expansions? Maybe, crew? maybe, but im not paying money for that crap i dont think many of us are going to which is why it hasnt been added.
You want the Sim experience, i get that. But thats not what this game is and it never will be...Mw5, maybe, HBS Battletech, sure thing. But no Arena Shooter is suddenly going MMORPG for a few fan boys.
Reapir and rearm could be a mode, but bring it back as a whole is just another tax on new players and kills the NPE so again, i dont think they are gonna add it in for a few of us that like it or wanna see it come back.

Yeah that ship sailed a long time ago and sunk when it hit that Island Russ used to talk about way back when. That doesn't mean we couldn't see some improvements to what we got and honestly I think the OP is right about one thing, that we need an improved game so that we can a larger player base.
Seriously what does Solaris give us? Well I will tell you, it gives us yet another game mode that will pull players out of the normal que and increase wait times for matches. I mean think about it. Currently FW players go to their own Que. Then FW players get separated into a Scout and Invasion Que. Then Comp Players yet another Que. Then Group players yet another Que. Finally we have PUGs in yet another QP Que. Now lets add in Solaris with multiple divisions and multiple modes so what is that, potentially 5,6, 7 more Ques?
So we have a relatively small player base separated out into like 10+ ques. That being the case, why would anyone be surprised by 5-10 minute ques to get into any single mode they might want to participate in?
So like I said, the OP is on to something. We really need a hell of alot more players playing the game before we add more ques to further dilute the available players for any given game mode.

The only end game is when pgi nerfs your mech then sells you a new one to replace it until the next mech comes out. Repeat until you stop spending money for that new mech. I just play because being one shot-ed in a locust is a good challenge of how long do I survive this match.
