Hmm, what if PGI tries a 2-mech pack? Basically like civil war releases but much smaller?
Bane (Kraken) vs Fafnir mechpack, would you be interested with that? What about Piranha vs Flea? Solitaire VS Raptor. Etc. etc.

How badly would PGI have to nerf Bane's agility so that the mech will not be OP upon release?
Forget about the Flea. IS deserves a better 20 tonner. Piranha is just groovy.

Pretty sure that it would end up the same story as Kodiak. OP to make sales, then slowly nerfed to oblivion.

I personally prefer the 1 mech per month system. Helps keep from draining the pool of canon mechs too quickly, the devs get to devote their time to a singular project instead of splitting up between multiple ones, and I have a better chance of being able to afford the early adopter packages by spreading them out.
(I do want the Piranha really badly though.)

I'd rather one 'mech per month than two 'mechs every other month. Doubly so if those two 'mechs are in the same weightclass. A pair of assaults? Yawn.
