You left out the Stalking Spider. And Fire Scorpion. Posted Image Granted, the latter is in one of the more populous tonnage points in the Clan array of mechs.

Thanks for the list, OP!

Regarding the the 55 ton Mechs, it a choice of philosophies:

Let me say that one of the best, if not the best choice is the Vapor Eagle. Really there is not much debating about it when it comes to 55t Mechs. It is one of the few choices rivalling the Stormcrow, probably surpassing it the way BattleMechs can be build in MWO.

However, I feel a strange affection to the Stooping Hawk. It's not as good as the Vapor Eagle, but I think it is an different addition to the Clan game: a not so fast (but not slow!) Mech, highly survivable, with respectable but not great amount of firepower. If quirked right it could add a different kind of Clan Mech, one that plays more like an IS Mech, i.e. taking a beating and still go on. But then hoping for quirks is always dangerous.

In a way, the Stooping Hawk is an Anti-Black Lanner. I mean the Black Lanner might very well work, but it plays to the known Clan game of superior mobility while retaining survivability thanks to the C-XL. The Black Lanner is a very Clan-like Mech, and if there is someone to see the appeal of a super-fast cavalry-Mech it is me.

So, again, you choose your philosophy:
- Vapor Eagle is the obvious meta-choice; all good, nothing bad, but nothing extraordinary
- Black Lanner is the Clan ideal of fire and maneuver taken to an extreme
- Stooping Hawk is the opposite; a survivable, almost IS-like Mech, but you have to use the STD engine too

I would be happy with all of them, but my money would be spend on the Hawk. Posted Image

That's a pretty nice list but I noticed you missed two 95 tonners.

Hellstar(AKA Clan's Awesome)(BM)/All Energy one variant with ECM
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Hellstar

Cygnus(AKA Clan's Annihilator) (BM)/Ballistics and Energy 2 viable variants with current tech

Indeed I did! They're in weight brackets with "enough" 'mechs already Posted Image

Not missed, omitted, because they were release after 3067. Production dates of 3079 and 3075, respectively.

Both are 'mechs I prefer over the Turkina, though. Posted Image

The Solitaire is a lovely little beast with its heavy laser loadout. It's also a Diamond Shark design, so it's an easy pick. Sadly, it lacks variants, so it might get skipped.

The Hellion is a solid omni. 4E 4M on the prime? Yes please. My only complaint is the lack of jump jets until we have the rest of the tech for the Hellion E.

The Goshawk/Vapor Eagle is one of my favorite mechs, hands down. They are killing machines of the highest caliber, and I would be very excited to see what the modelers could do with them.

The Mercury II and Stag are both Not-Named designs, so we're never seeing them. I'm guessing they're included for completeness?

That one is interesting too! It's more a meta choice imo, for being a BattleMech (capable of changing the engine) with good hardpoints (especially the -2: 3x missile HP in each ST, plus 2x energy in each arm) and ECM. I also like the looks.
It would be interesting to see how Alex interprets the design:

I do like the look of it, but I agree that the Vapor Eagle is likely the best choice.
