Bad idea. A person may get mass neg repped purely for going against mass opinion, even though the mass opinion is wrong.

That's the whole point of a dislike system, its to show the stance of the general population, right or wrong. The dislikes don't harm a person in any way, its exactly like a poll saying whether or not people like an idea.

I myself have gone against mass opinion here multiple times with my "Clans OP" parody threads that I pull out at times in which people continue to cry that IS is weak while IS crushes opposition.

You just go on out there, post your opinion, and earn your reds like a man, knowing that if you really put up a good argument as to why you have your opinion, you might have shaken the hold each disliker had on theirs.

And that is called taking things out of context. I recommend anyone reading this to read my entire message because this quote is quite the misrepresentation of my opinion.
But it does expose why we shouldn't have a dislike button. So people don't abuse it to hide opinions they don't like, just like you now tried to abuse quotes to miscredit mine.
But despite that I still defend your right to give opinions I highly disagree with on these forums. As long as I'm allowed to give you mine.

Reading this forum I think the game is in a very good state. Everything is OP so everything is quite balanced.

Except that it costs nothing to have a host of sockpuppet accounts in a F2P game to dislike whatever you choose into oblivion.
