So, not sure if this has been posted before but here's an observation.
Has anyone else noticed that bobblehead type standing cockpit items (Classy Mech, Atlas Bobblehead, Coconut Monkey, etc) can act as a sort of poor man's seismic sensor? When you're stopped, they still shake from other Mechs moving around you. Granted this works for both friendlies and enemies, but it also works even if you're shut down. I could so picture a streamer such as theB33f putting out a video featuring use of a bobblehead as a sensor mechanism...

It is nice indicator, but usually footstep audio gives away any approaching mech, when you are standing still.

I like to mix the technologies of today and yesterday.

When not using Seismic, my primary use is 7.1 Surround. But for those moments when i'm powered down and unsure, i ask the best piece of equipment:

"Oh Magic 8 Ball, is there someone approaching the Citadel that i can wipe from existence with one alphastrike?"

Damn you 8 Ball!!!
