Please don't reward bad behavior. MWO is no longer the sole Battletech product. Give instead to turned based game by Harebrained.

What could they add to a founders pack? A seasons pass of all the dlc?

Granted all pgi has done with this game I have very low expectations if mw5 is ever released. For having *cough* two independent dev teams *cough* there is nothing on the 'official' mw5 sites. mw5 seems more like transverse. I won't buy mw5 until I start seeing game play videos of the actual finished fully released product and those reviews are not giving the game a horrible review.

I'll also want to see the physical retail box with system requirements and some screen shots of the game. Pgi had their chance with mwo the last five years to make a really great game instead of what it is now.

What kind of drugs are you on? Hairbrained Schemes is NOT making a Mechwarrior game.

I am flabbergasted by the ignorance of people who think all BattleTech games are interchangeable.

Would be great to have system like the MWO Founders.

Vet Founder: Early Access and an appreciation item (cockpit or special camo).

Elite Founder: Early Access and small starting C-Bill bonus (+ Vet reward)

Legendary Founder: Early Access, special starting mech (or pilot/base/whatever + previous tier rewards)

Would be nice to also have a special item/camo/etc in MWO for linking your account for having Founders on both games (i know, it's a stretch).

MW5 Founders package? Let's look at a L/M/H/A package from the 2750 era...

Hermes / Clint / Crusader / Thug

I'd rather just have MW5 come out and be good, though, if I'm honest.

not sure, but they said MW5(or at least a Demo) will be available to play at MechCon,
so its very likely info on support packages and the like will be available then,

Lets not have this thread turn get locked because a moderator incited a riot and just say, PGI is still PGI.

And I will not pre-order from PGI.

Just like I won't pre-order from Bethesda, Obsidian, Activision, and ESPECIALLY not EA or Ubisoft.

Don't pre-order anything unless its from a trusted and reliable company and game series. Posted Image

Having bought the most expensive Founders package for this game at the time it was announced, I can say that I will not be a Founder of MW5, unless perhaps it has some ridiculously good incentives to do so.

Why? Unlike some who only look back 12 months at a time, I prefer to make my decisions based on all available experience at hand.

At the time, PGI was the only game in town and they promised, or it could be argued that they persuasively suggested, that they would be providing all sorts of goodies as they moved forward. Well from my POV they did not provide what they convinced me they were going to, and as such I would be loath to buy into any "future" promises from them again.

You know the old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me"

That said, I did not say I wouldn't buy the game, however this time I will gladly pay extra once I see if the game proves out after launch.

I think I would rather be disappointed that I didn't buy a potential MW5 founder package because the game ended up being good than buy a MW5 founder package and be disappointed with the product. I know the MWO founder package was released a long time ago, and it's pretty petty to hold a grudge over it, but I don't think it's unfair to be wary about potential future projects coming from PGI.

That said, I hope things do work out for MW5. Hopefully them working with the Unreal engine in turn makes a lot of things work for MW5, as I believe a lot of the technical issues MWO has are related to Cry Engine (for example, LBX ammo swapping). I might be incorrect about that, but here's hoping.

Nobody says you have to. Just asked if there was going to be an opportunity for people who do want to.

I like this game. I like shooting robots with friends. I want to continue playing this game and shooting robots with friends. I am willing to give PGI money to keep doing that. I would be interested in a founders pack for MW5.
