I'm trying to get MW4:M to full screen to no luck, I made another post about it but I haven't got help there yet.

Here's my post about it: https://mwomercs.com...ot-full-screen/

Also I'd like to get the controls to play close to MWO if possible since the default key layout is all over the place.

You actually got MW4:M to work?

Try Mektek.

Also try Pcgamingwiki for mods, bug fixes, etc.

It's an old game so full screen will be... an interesting challenge. GL!

Yeah, Mektek 3.1 is the version I'm using...

My first guess would be that the max resolution for the game doesn't match your PCs max resolution, because of the age of the game. Have you tried matching your resolution? Also, sometimes alt+enter will force full screen, so try that if you haven't.

...and it turned out that is was something as simple as matching my computer's screen rez with the game's supported screen rez, so anytime I want to play I have to lower my screen rez to 1200x1024, it's a little awkward and wonky but it works.

So the game work as intended now.

Thanks for the reply!

I got MW4:M from myabandonware.com if anyone is looking.

I'm pretty sure there's another solution, like editing the config file.

Careful advertising that website here. The mods don't like it.

OP was asking for help with mechwarrior 4 : mercenaries, not MWO.
