All you have to do is copy the http link to the video you want go to the link button on the forums and paste your link in the pop-up and click ok. Done.

If that doesn't work, try typing in media and /media in brackets like this [] [] and in between the link you pasted in the forums.

OK, this is what I get when I add media /media in []s:

[url="https://youtu.be/NU9-F442Pw4"]https://youtu.be/NU9-F442Pw4[/url]

The 'url' tags are automatically added - the address I put in was just https://youtu.be/NU9-F442Pw4

When you paste your video, it needs to have "watch" inside your link.

If I try adding watch?= I just get:

or if I also modify youtu.be to youtube.com
https://youtube.com/watch?=NU9-F442Pw4
